Chekole Moges Habtu

Chekole Moges Habtu is an experienced civil engineer and project coordinator with a focus on infrastructure development and humanitarian efforts. Currently serving as the National Project Coordinator at the International Labour Organization since April 2020, Chekole is dedicated to improving prospects for host communities and forcibly displaced persons. Previous roles include Construction Supervisor at Plan International, Infrastructure Engineer at Food for the Hungry, Inc., Field Officer-Engineer at Danish Refugee Council, and Construction Supervisor at ACTION CONTRE LA FAIM, all emphasizing various aspects of infrastructure and water management. Chekole holds a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Gondar and is pursuing a Master's degree in Sustainable Urban Development at the University of Oxford.
