Hector Maletta

Hector Maletta is a seasoned Senior Advisor and Consultant with extensive experience in international organizations since 1980, specializing in food security, rural development, and livelihood recovery. Notable positions include serving as an international expert for the FAO, ILO, UNDP, and others in over 30 countries across Africa, Asia, and Latin America, with a focus on agricultural policy and the effects of climate change. Recent projects include leadership of the PIADER project in Peru, funded by the Inter-American Development Bank. Maletta has held academic roles, including Associate Research Fellow at Universidad del Pacifico and professor positions at Universidad del Salvador, and contributions to research efforts at the Argentine Catholic University within the Social Observatory.
