Léa Richard holds extensive experience in international development, particularly in market systems development and livelihoods projects. Currently serving as a Technical Officer at The Systems Change Initiative and the International Labour Organization since November 2022, Léa previously worked as a Market Systems Development Consultant at DevLearn, leading evaluations of programs aimed at enhancing livelihoods, such as a cashew value chain project in Cambodia. Prior roles include managing a MADAD-funded project for People in Need in Iraq and founding a micro-bakery focused on training vulnerable women. Léa has also contributed to project development and implementation at ACTED, served as a Migration Policy Support Officer at the French Ministry of Interior, and lectured in International Business Management at the National University of Management. Léa's educational background includes a B.A and M.A in International Development & EU Affairs from Sciences Po Lille, with additional studies in Migration Studies and International Law at the University of Hamburg and Politics and International Relations at the University of Kent.
