International Leadership Charter High School
Lisa Edmiston has a diverse work experience in the field of education. Lisa started their career in 1999 as a Substitute Teacher at NYC Department of Education/MS222. Lisa then worked as a Physical Science and Physical Education Teacher before joining Harriet Tubman Charter School in 2001. At Harriet Tubman Charter School, they served as a Health and Physical Education Teacher and later took on roles such as Academy Director and Director of Development. In 2005, Lisa joined Our World Neighborhood Charter School as an Assistant Principal before being promoted to the position of School Principal. Currently, they are working as the Chief Academic Officer at International Leadership Charter High School, starting in 2023.
Lisa Edmiston has a High School Regents Diploma in Industrial Design from Brooklyn Technical High School. Lisa also holds a Bachelor's degree in Communication, General from Howard University. Lisa has a Master's Degree in Elementary Education and Teaching from The City College of New York. Additionally, they have an SAS Administration Certificate in Educational Leadership and Administration, General from the College of St. Rose. Lisa has obtained certifications in School Building Leader and School District Leader from The College of Saint Rose.
