Daisy Gilardini

Daisy Gilardini is a professional conservation photographer with extensive experience focusing on the Polar Regions, particularly Antarctic wildlife and North American bears. Originally from Switzerland, Gilardini is currently based in Vancouver, Canada. Since 1989, Gilardini has operated Daisy Gilardini Photography and has held various notable roles, including Content Contributor for National Geographic and Photographer in Residence for Canadian Geographic. Additionally, Gilardini serves as a Fellow for both The Royal Canadian Geographical Society and The Explorers Club and holds the title of Antarctic Ambassador with Greenpeace UK. Other affiliations include being an Associate Fellow with the International League of Conservation Photographers and a Member of "The Collective" with SeaLegacy. As a Brand Ambassador for Nikon Europe and a photo tour leader with Amazing Views Photo & Adventure Tours GmbH, Gilardini combines expertise in photography with a commitment to conservation. Academic qualifications include a Master's degree in Accounting and Finance and a Federally Attested Accounting credential from Switzerland.
