John Paul Owiny

John Paul Owiny is a Civil Engineer with more than 17 years’ experience in the WASH sector. He has worked in the emergency, crisis/recovery, and development contexts. He has managed many WASH programs, and his skills and expertise expand from hygiene promotion to the technical aspect of WASH. John Paul has worked throughout Uganda for a variety of different organizations, including Norwegian Refugee Council, World Vision International, Action Against Hunger, and the International Federation of Red Cross Societies. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Civil and Building Engineering and is currently completing his master’s degree in Water and Sanitation Engineering, both of which are from Kyambogo University.
