Amy Chacko, MSHMI, PMP, CPHIMS, FHIMSS

Amy Chacko, MSHMI, PMP, CPHIMS, FHIMSS has been working in the healthcare industry since 2012. Amy began their career as a Senior Project Management Consultant at Navin, Haffty & Associates, where they led the implementation of Pdoc across several departments at Griffin Hospital in Derby, CT and Chilton Hospital in Pompton Plains, NJ. In 2014, they joined Valley Health System as a Senior Consultant, where they provided post-live support for Meditech 6.1 READY. In 2015, they worked as a Project Manager at WellSpan Ephrata Community Hospital, providing support for LSS systems for all outpatient clinics. In 2016, they joined Mass General Brigham as a Project Manager - Deployment, leading the implementation of Epic ASAP system for the network of eight hospitals and five urgent care clinics. In 2019, they joined Encore, An emids Company as a Senior Project Management Consultant, leading the implementation of Epic for United Health Services. Amy also joined HIMSS as Chair, Chapters Task Force, Immediate Past President, New England HIMSS Chapter, and President Elect, New England HIMSS Chapter. In 2020, they worked as an EMR Litigation Consultant at International Litigation Services and in 2021 they joined Nordic Consulting Partners, Inc. as a Senior Project Management Consultant. Currently, they are working as a Clinical Project Manager at Evergreen Healthcare Partners, managing multiple projects in the Epic space and giving oversight to Epic, technical and construction teams.

Amy Chacko has an extensive education history. Amy received a Bachelor of Science in Management Information Systems and Management from Northeastern University in 2003. Amy then earned a Master of Science in Health and Medical Informatics from Brandeis University in 2017. Amy has also obtained several certifications, including a MyChart Certification from Epic in 2022, a ClinDoc Certification from Epic in 2022, an Ambulatory Certification from Epic in 2019, an Ambulatory Proficiency from Epic in 2018, an ASAP Certification from Epic in 2016, a Certified Professional in Health Information & Management Systems (CPHIMS) from HIMSS in 2014, a Six Sigma Green Belt (SSGB) from 6Sigma Services in 2011, and a Project Management Professional (PMP) from the Project Management Institute in 2008. Amy is also a Fellow of HIMSS (FHIMSS).
