Emad AlHumam attended Boston University in 2009, where they completed a Pocket MBA in the Management Executive Program. In the same year, they also obtained a Master of Business Administration - MBA from the University of Phoenix, specializing in Business Administration and Management.
Earlier in their education, Emad graduated from the King Fahd University of Petroleum & Minerals - KFUPM in 1990 with a Bachelor of Engineering (BE) degree in Systems Engineering.
Emad further enhanced their skills by obtaining several certifications. In 2008, they became a Certified Information Security Manager (CISM) from ISACA. In 2010, Emad achieved the Certification in Risk and Information Systems Control (CRISC) from ISACA and the Certified Business Continuity Professional (CBCP) from the Business Continuity Institute (BCI). Most recently, in 2020, they completed the course "Leadership in an Exponentially Changing World" from the MIT Sloan School of Management.
