Sandy Knight

Sandy Knight is an experienced mechanical engineer currently serving as a Consultant at International Maritime Industries, leading the mechanical discipline for New Build Rigs and MRO since January 2025. Prior roles include serving as Country Manager, Engineering UK, and Engineering Manager at Archer - the well company, as well as owning Alexander Knight Engineering Ltd. Previously, Sandy held multiple engineering positions, including Lead Piping & Mechanical Engineer and Principal Mechanical Engineer, with significant experience at RDS - Drilling Engineering Specialists, Seadrill, and Smedvig Drilling. Educational qualifications include a BEng (Hons) in Engineering from The Open University and a HNC in Mechanical Engineering from Angus College.
