Jim Cencula

Jim Cencula is a seasoned mechanical engineering consultant with extensive experience in turbo-machinery, specializing in gas turbines, compressors, and wind turbines. Currently working at Rotating Machinery Services, Inc. as a Mechanical Engineering Consultant since February 2023, Cencula provides lead technical support for field service and design improvements across various rotating equipment. Prior roles include managerial positions at GE Renewable Energy, GE Oil & Gas, and GE Energy, where responsibilities ranged from leading engineering teams for wind drivetrain development to overseeing technical operations for drilling and production systems. Cencula has also contributed to academia as an adjunct faculty instructor at Isothermal Community College and holds a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from The Ohio State University, along with a certificate in Technology Management from Georgia Tech Scheller College of Business.
