Karen Collins, PMP, CSM is an experienced project management professional with a diverse background spanning over two decades. Karen is currently serving as the Director of Enterprise Project & Strategic Management Organization at International Medical Group (IMG), where they define and implements enterprise project management standards and procedures for multiple product lines. Reporting directly to the CEO, Karen manages annual strategic planning and quarterly performance reporting. Karen also leads cross-PMO collaboration and oversees a team of project managers and support staff.

Prior to their current role, Karen worked as a Program Manager at IMG from 2019 to 2021. Before joining IMG, they held the position of Senior Consultant Project Manager at DXC (formerly Hewlett-Packard Enterprise) from 2014 to 2019, where they served as a senior consultant and project manager.

Karen's earlier work experience includes roles such as Implementation Analyst at Fiserv from 2011 to 2013, Business Analyst Lead at NIC Inc. from 2007 to 2008, Sr. Business Analyst at Kaplan from 2006 to 2007, Sr. Business Analyst at Wyndham Vacation Ownership from 2006, and Release Manager, Team Lead at Liberty Mutual Insurance from 2004 to 2005.

Karen began their career at Safeco Insurance in 1997, where they held the positions of Project Lead and Systems Analyst until 2002. During their time at Safeco Insurance, Karen was responsible for creating project plans, conducting team status meetings, managing risks, and coordinating with stakeholders.

Karen Collins, PMP, CSM obtained their Bachelor's degree from Purdue University between 1991 and 1995. Karen then pursued further education and completed their Master's degree at Indiana University–Purdue University Indianapolis from 2009 to 2011. Prior to their university education, Karen completed their High School/Secondary Diploma Programs with Honors at Cascade High School from 1987 to 1990. In addition to their formal education, Karen has obtained several certifications to enhance their professional skills. Karen obtained the certifications of "Transitioning from Technical Professional to Manager" from LinkedIn in March 2018, "Project Management Professional" from the Project Management Institute in January 2016, and "Certified Scrum Master" from the Scrum Alliance in December 2013.
