Amanda Walker is an experienced news anchor and journalist with a diverse background in broadcasting. Currently serving as the anchor of IMF Today at the International Monetary Fund since October 2022, Amanda has also hosted the Storyteller’s Collective Workshop at National Geographic. Prior to these roles, Amanda was a US Correspondent and Anchor at Sky News for over 15 years, where notable achievements included live anchoring major events, producing a political podcast, and writing long-form political documentaries. Amanda's earlier experience includes positions as Moscow Correspondent and West of England Correspondent at Sky News, as well as roles at ITV and Global, where significant coverage included breaking news stories such as the 2005 terror attacks. Academic credentials include a Postgraduate Degree in Broadcast Journalism from City St George’s, University of London, and a BA Honours in English Language and Literature from the University of Hull.
