Eddie Buckley

Eddie Buckley serves as the Special Assistant to the Director of Communications at the International Monetary Fund since April 2020. Prior to this role, Eddie was a Senior Communications Officer and European Media Relations Coordinator at the World Bank Group from October 2015 to April 2020, where responsibilities included managing communications strategy and media relationships across Europe. Eddie previously held the position of Head of Marketing and Public Engagement at CDC Group plc, focusing on strategic communications and stakeholder engagement. Eddie began a career as a PR Consultant for various organizations before serving as Consumer Board Director and Head of Creative at Lexis PR. Eddie holds a BSocSc in International Relations with French from the University of Birmingham and is pursuing a Diploma in Consumer Marketing Strategy at Harvard Business School.
