Emmanuel Crown

Emmanuel Crown is a digital expert at the International Monetary Fund since January 2024, specializing in Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Central Bank Digital Currencies (CBDC). Prior to this, Emmanuel Crown served as an Innovation Officer at the World Bank from December 2011 to January 2024, focusing on blockchain technology, AI, IoT, and emerging technologies, as well as leading various initiatives related to Large Language Models (LLM) and Non-Fungible Tokens (NFTs). Earlier roles include Lead Web Developer and Information Technology Consultant, with significant contributions to the development of safety applications and pioneering projects in web-based search and rescue systems. Academic qualifications include ongoing studies at the MIT Sloan School of Management in AI implications for business strategy and a certificate in NLP with Deep Learning from Stanford University.
