Pierre Passin

Deputy CIO And CTO at International Monetary Fund

Pierre Passin has extensive work experience in the field of Information Technology. Pierre is currently serving as the Deputy CIO and CTO at the International Monetary Fund since October 2022. Prior to this, they worked at the Asian Development Bank (ADB) from 2005 to 2022, holding the positions of Deputy Director General and Director. At ADB, they were responsible for the Bank's global IT Infrastructure, cyber security infrastructure, and Service Management, managing a team of over 200 professionals across 32 countries. Before joining ADB, Pierre worked at The World Bank from 1998 to 2005 as an Information Officer, leading a team of IT professionals and handling the development, engineering, and support of IT solutions for the executives of the World Bank Group.

Pierre Passin obtained their Master's degree in Aeronautical Construction from the National Superior Aeronautic Engineering School (ENSICA now ISAE-SUPAE) from 1994 to 1996. Additionally, they pursued a Master's degree in Signal Processing, Image Processing, and Digital Communications from the University of Toulouse in 1995 and 1996.
