Vivian Malta

Vivian Malta, PhD, serves as a Senior Economist in the Strategy, Policy and Review Department at the International Monetary Fund since July 2023. Prior experience includes roles as an International Economist at Opportunity Gestora and as a Specialist and External Consultant at Prometeia. Vivian previously worked at the International Monetary Fund from March 2017 to March 2021 and held an Economist position at the World Bank Group between November 2015 and March 2017. Other notable positions include Associate Director at BTG Pactual's Macroeconomic Research Team and Research Assistant at FGV EPGE.
