Zhengyuan Xia is a Research Analyst at the International Monetary Fund since November 2023 and a Consultant in Economic Affairs at ECLAC, starting in February 2023. Prior experience includes roles as an Economic Affairs Intern at ECLAC, supporting macroeconomic research, and Programme Support for the Japan Biodiversity Fund at the UN Environment Programme. Previous positions also include Research Assistant roles at the South-South International Trade and Investment Centre and the School of International Governance Innovation, as well as a Data Analysis Intern at the Bank of China. Zhengyuan Xia holds a Master's degree in Public Administration from the University of Maryland and a Master's degree in International Business from Guangdong University of Foreign Studies, in addition to a Bachelor's degree in International Business from Southwest University of Political Science and Law, with prior education at Waseda University.
