Michael Heady, LCPC, is a licensed clinical professional counselor with extensive experience in the assessment and treatment of anxiety disorders, including panic disorder, obsessive-compulsive disorder, social anxiety, and generalized anxiety disorder. Currently serving as Co-Director and Co-Owner at the Anxiety and Stress Disorders Institute of Maryland since June 2007, Michael also holds roles as Associate Director and Assistant Director of Training within the organization. Additionally, Michael contributes as a Clinical Associate for the International OCD Foundation and has taught undergraduate psychology courses at McDaniel College. Previous experience includes internships and positions focused on substance abuse and rehabilitation counseling. Michael earned an M.A. in Counseling Psychology from Towson University and a B.A. in Psychology from McDaniel College, and is a Clinical Fellow with the Anxiety and Depression Association of America.
