Jessica Baldwin

Jessica Baldwin is the current Head of Youth Olympic Games Operations at the International Olympic Committee. Jessica has held this position since May 2019. Prior to this, they were the Head of Sport at Special Olympics World Games Abu Dhabi 2019 from January 2018 to May 2019. Jessica has also worked as the Games Director - National Summer Games 2017 at Special Olympics NZ from June 2017 to January 2018, the Sports and Venues Operations Manager at World Masters Games 2017 from January 2016 to July 2016, and the Sport Cluster Competition Manager at Baku 2015 European Games Operation Committee from January 2014 to July 2015. Jessica's other previous positions include Stakeholder and Delivery Manager for legacy of Hadleigh Farm (London 2012 Mountain Bike venue) at Essex County Council from March 2013 to November 2013, Venue Operations Manager at London 2012 from March 2011 to September 2012, and Head of Sport at Baku 2017, 4th Islamic Solidarity Games from July 2016 to June 2017. Jessica began their career in the sports industry as the Lower North Island Regional Sports Coordinator at Special Olympics New Zealand from January 2009 to December 2011, before becoming the National Events Manager at University Sport New Zealand from January 2008 to December 2009.

Jessica Baldwin completed a Masters of Management in Human Resource Management from Massey University. Jessica then went on to complete a postgraduate qualification in Human Resource Management from the same institution. Jessica Baldwin holds a BA from the University of Otago, where they double majored in Psychology and Spanish.

Jessica Baldwin works with Matthieu Amsellem - Head of Planning, Performance and Vendor Management, Joëlle Simond - Head of NOC Information Services, and Lorenzo Graziani - Head of Game Services. Their manager is Lana Haddad, Chief Operating Officer.
