Lorenzo Graziani

Head, Game Services at International Olympic Committee

Lorenzo Graziani is the Head of Game Services at the International Olympic Committee. Lorenzo has over 10 years of experience in event management, accreditation, and transportation logistics.

Lorenzo started their career in 2006 as the Workforce Accreditation Senior Coordinator for the Doha 2006 Organising Committee for the XV Asian Games. In this role, they were responsible for coordinating the accreditation process for over 60,000 employees and volunteers.

In 2007, Lorenzo took on the role of Accreditation & Access Control Manager for the Milan City Marathon. This was followed by roles managing accreditation operations and logistics for the Valencia 2008 12th IAAF World Indoor Championships and the Osaka 2007 11th IAAF World Championships in Athletics.

In 2008, Lorenzo was the Accreditation Project Manager for the Rome 2009 13th FINA World Championships. This was a large-scale event with over 8,000 athletes from 180 countries competing. Lorenzo was responsible for coordinating all aspects of accreditation and transportation logistics.

From 2009 to 2010, Lorenzo worked as the Media Transportation System Manager for the Vancouver Organizing Committee for the 2010 Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games. This was one of the largest sporting events in history, with over 25,000 athletes, coaches, and officials from 82 countries participating. Lorenzo was responsible for managing all aspects of media transportation, including accreditation, scheduling, and logistics.

Since joining the International Olympic Committee in 2010, Lorenzo has been responsible for coordinating game services for all Olympic and Paralympic Games. In this role, they manage a team of over 200 staff and volunteers who provide support services to athletes, coaches, officials, and the media.

Lorenzo Graziani has a degree from Università Bocconi and also studied at Tumwater High School and XIII Liceo Scientifico.
