Rachel Beacher is a seasoned communications professional with extensive experience in both nonprofit and corporate sectors. Currently serving as the Communications and Editorial Manager for Future Olympic Games Hosts at the International Olympic Committee since February 2021, Rachel is also the Volunteer President and Co-Founder of Active Parents Active Kids, an NGO promoting active lifestyles for families. Previous roles include Freelance Communications Specialist, Marketing & Communications Manager for InterSoccer, Communications Manager for The Active Well-being Initiative, and Publications and Marketing Officer at Brighton & Hove City Council. Rachel began her career in journalism, holding positions as Senior Reporter at The Argus Newspaper and Bath Chronicle, among others. Rachel holds a Master of Arts in English Language and Literature from the University of Oxford.
