Antoine Barbier

Antoine Barbier is an experienced specialist in shelter and settlements with a significant background in humanitarian response. Currently serving as a Shelter & Settlements Officer and Settlements Approach Technical Advisor at OIM - ONU Migration since March 2022, Antoine has previously held various positions, including Shelter Coordinator at the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies for a brief period in 2021, and Development Officer at Caritas Internationalis in early 2020. Prior tenure includes multiple roles at the Norwegian Refugee Council, where Antoine contributed as a Shelter Specialist and Shelter Manager from 2015 to 2019, and as an interim Shelter Cluster Coordinator at UNHCR in late 2012. Antoine has also managed projects with Handicap International across various periods from 2008 to 2012. Antoine holds a degree as Architecte DPLG from Ecole nationale supérieure d'architecture de Paris-Belleville.
