Bisharo Ali Hussein

Bisharo Ali Hussein is a Migration Governance and Policy Development Officer at IOM - UN Migration since July 2021, focusing on enhancing migration governance and implementing the Global Compact for Migration. Previous roles include contributions to external relations and cooperation between organizations for program development. Additional experience encompasses a short-term assignment in West and Central Africa, serving as a Migration Management and Governance Consultant, and managing monitoring and evaluation activities for projects funded by Iceland's Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Educational qualifications include master's degrees in Public Policy from both the Institut Barcelona d’Estudis Internacionals and the International Institute of Social Studies, a postgraduate degree in International Gender Studies, and a bachelor's degree in Development Studies. Current studies include pursuing an MBA from the University of South Wales.
