IOM - UN Migration
Diala SAAD has extensive experience in interpretation and translation, with a career spanning several prominent organizations. Currently serving as a Conference Interpreter and Translator at IOM - UN Migration since November 2021, Diala also holds a position as a Conference Interpreter with the United Nations Economic and Social Commission for Western Asia (ESCWA) since February 2017. Previous roles include Translator for the United Nations Office for Disaster Risk Reduction (UNDRR) from September 2019 to August 2021, and Interpreter/Translator for UNDP from November 2008 to October 2016. Additional experience includes working as a Translator at Booz Allen Hamilton and as a Translator for the Delegation of the European Union to Lebanon. Diala began a career in education as an English Instructor for Communication at the Academy of English. Diala holds a Master’s degree in Conference Interpreting and a Bachelor's degree in Translation and Living Languages from Holy Spirit University of Kaslik - USEK.
