Donghyuk Park

Donghyuk PARK is a highly experienced professional in migration management, currently serving as the Head of Programmes at the IOM - UN Migration since April 2017. In this role, Donghyuk offers strategic direction for programming aligned with regional priorities and oversees the execution of various programs. Previous positions include Project Manager roles addressing crisis response and labor migration, as well as conflict management and border governance. Donghyuk's academic background includes a Ph.D. in Sociology of Migration from Université Paris Diderot, where research focused on the experiences of vulnerable migrant populations. Additional experience encompasses journalism and police service, complemented by multiple degrees in sociology, migration law, and South Asian studies.
