Doreen Gitari

Doreen Gitari is a seasoned professional in the field of humanitarian affairs and program development, currently serving as a Programme Development and Reporting Officer for the IOM - UN Migration, focusing on the Rohingya Refugee Response since 2021. Previous roles include Grants Coordinator at the Norwegian Refugee Council, where contributions included effective grants management and proposal support, and Proposal Development and Reporting Coordinator at Save the Children International, overseeing a $140M operation in Yemen. Doreen also has experience as a Senior Program Development Officer at Samaritan's Purse International Relief, enhancing grants management and capacity building, and held multiple positions with Save the Children International, UNHCR, and the International Rescue Committee, concentrating on protection, reporting, and donor relations.
