Farhan Sahane

Farhan Sahane is an experienced professional specializing in humanitarian assistance and development, currently serving as the CCCM/SMS Senior Assistant at IOM - UN Migration since April 2021, focusing on camp coordination and management for internally displaced persons in Ethiopia. Previously, Farhan held positions including Program Coordinator at OWDA, Food Security and Livelihoods Coordinator at the Norwegian Refugee Council, and Program Manager at the Aged and Children Pastoralists Association, overseeing various projects related to food security, livelihoods, agricultural development, and emergency response. Farhan possesses advanced degrees in Disaster Risk Management and Sustainable Development, as well as Agriculture and Natural Resource Management, acquired from Jigjiga University.
