Fiona Ward Shaw

Fiona Ward Shaw currently serves as a Senior Project Assistant in Monitoring & Evaluation for the IOM - UN Migration, starting July 2024, within the Oversight Unit of the US Refugee Admissions Program. Prior experience includes roles as a Visiting Research Assistant at Mzumbe University, a Teaching Assistant for Intermediate Microeconomics at Smith College, a Communications Intern with Defence for Children International, and a Case Support Intern at Blue Sky Bridge. Fiona has also worked as a STRIDE Research Assistant at Smith College and served as a Field Organizer for the Karla Bailey-Smith Political Campaign. Fiona holds a Master of Science in Development Evaluation and Management from the University of Antwerp and a Bachelor of Arts in Quantitative Economics from Smith College, alongside participation in a Junior Year Abroad program at the Geneva Graduate Institute, and completed secondary education at Bloomington High School.
