Gilmar Magoumba

Gilmar Magoumba is a proficient professional in project management and protection coordination with diverse experience spanning various organizations. Currently serving as a Project Assistant at OIM - ONU Migration since September 2023, Gilmar focuses on project management support, case management, and facilitating the reintegration of returning Gabonese migrants. Previously, as a Senior Protection Assistant at UNHCR from March 2022 to July 2024, Gilmar led the thematic group on mixed population movements, ensuring coordinated implementation of joint projects and capacity-building initiatives. Earlier roles as an Assistant Investment Officer at Shelter Afrique and a junior consultant at The World Bank Group contributed to financial analysis and business development acumen. Gilmar holds a Master's degree in Projects Analysis and Evaluation from ISTA-CEMAC and a Bachelor's degree in Economics from Université Omar Bongo.
