Hugo Brandam is a consultant specializing in migration, environment, climate change, and risk reduction at the International Organization for Migration (IOM) since December 2022. Previously, Hugo worked as a Policy and Communications Intern at the Platform on Disaster Displacement (PDD) with UNOPS from February 2022 to January 2023, and as a student researcher at the UNEP/OCHA Joint Environment Unit. Hugo also served as President of the Environmental Committee at the Geneva Graduate Institute from January 2021 to January 2022 and completed an advocacy internship at Franciscans International. Hugo’s early experience includes roles in crisis management at the Ministry for Europe and Foreign Affairs and public policy consulting with Préfecture du Rhône. Hugo holds a Master's degree in Development Studies from the Geneva Graduate Institute and a Master's degree in International Affairs from Sciences Po Lyon. An exchange program was completed at the University of Pretoria.
