Julie Meier

Julie Meier, M.S., is an experienced professional in the field of mental health and humanitarian response, currently serving as an Operations Officer focused on Mental Health and Psychosocial Support (MHPSS) with IOM - UN Migration since July 2020. Julie has held various roles within IOM, including MHPSS Programme Support Officer and Program Coordinator a.i. Additionally, Julie is the Founder of Refugee Pathways, established in February 2017. Prior experience includes consultancy roles with Catholic Relief Services and IOM, as well as humanitarian aid provision for children with Stichting Bootvluchteling and an internship at Save the Children International. Julie's educational credentials include a Master's certificate in Global Mental Health Policy and Advocacy from the Lisbon Institute of Global Mental Health, a Master's in Global Affairs from New York University, and a Bachelor's in International Relations from American University, among other qualifications in international humanitarian law and Near and Middle Eastern studies.
