Luisa Fernanda Sierra Jaramillo is a Program Officer at Freedom House since May 2021 and previously served as a Consultora. Prior experience includes roles at Alcaldía de Medellín from February 2016 to May 2021, where Luisa was the Coordinadora Proyecto Juventudes Tejedoras, focusing on strengthening vulnerable youth affected by violence, as well as serving as Analista Temática de Reclutamiento Ilícito and implementing public safety policies. Additional positions include teaching at Institución Universitaria Pascual Bravo, providing legal advice for conflict victims at Gobernación de Antioquia, and leading transitional justice efforts. Luisa holds a Specialist degree in Human Rights and International Humanitarian Law and a Law degree from Universidad de Antioquia.
