Maanasa R. is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in international development, legal assistance, and migration issues. Currently serving as a Consultant and Technical Advisor to the Global Framework Technical Working Group at IOM - UN Migration since April 2023, Maanasa has previously held significant roles including LERT Lead at Meta and Durable Solutions Adviser at the Norwegian Refugee Council. Maanasa's career encompasses positions such as Protection Cluster Co-Coordinator at the Danish Refugee Council, Program Manager at both The Commission for International Justice and Accountability and the American Bar Association Rule of Law Initiative, and Attorney & Deputy Director at the Human Rights Law Network in Delhi. Maanasa holds a B.A. in Political Science, Classical Civilizations, and Art History from Emory University, a Master of Arts in International Development from the American University School of International Service, and a Doctor of Law in International Law and Legal Studies from the American University Washington College of Law.
