Mitchell Samunderu

Mitchell Samunderu is a seasoned professional in the field of medical laboratory science, currently serving as a Senior Laboratory Technologist at IOM - UN Migration since June 2021. Previously, Mitchell held the position of Medical Laboratory Scientist and Acting Chief Medical Laboratory Scientist at United Bulawayo Hospitals from June 2018 to June 2024. Academic qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in Medical Laboratory Science from the University of Zimbabwe (2013-2017), a Special Honors in Monitoring and Evaluation from Lupane State University (January 2019 - September 2021), and a Master's degree in Biotechnology in Assisted Human Reproductive Medicine from the University of Valencia. Additionally, training was completed at Kasturba Medical College, Manipal.
