Thiong Chol Aduong

Thiong Chol ADUONG is a seasoned education and project management professional with extensive experience in humanitarian settings. Currently serving as a Project Assistant for IOM - UN Migration since July 2023, Thiong supports the implementation of functional adult literacy programs. Previously, roles included Area Manager at Christian Mission for Development, overseeing operations in Jonglei State, and Education Project Manager responsible for UNICEF-funded projects. Thiong's career also encompasses significant positions within Norwegian Refugee Council, including Roving Project Coordinator for Education, and earlier experiences as Dean of Students at Aluakluak Women Vocational Training Centre and Deputy Head Teacher at The Lutheran World Federation. Thiong holds a Master of Education in Education in Emergencies from the University of Nairobi and several degrees in education from other institutions.
