Tim Howe

Tim Howe is a Senior Regional Protection Specialist at IOM - UN Migration, with extensive experience in migrant protection and assistance across the Americas and the East and Horn of Africa. Since October 2011, Tim has held various roles, including Head of Interagency Unit for the Venezuela Situation and Project Coordinator for the Bali Process on People Smuggling and Trafficking. Prior to this, Tim served as an Associate Migration Policy Officer at UNHCR, focusing on mixed migration policy development and coordination of regional conferences. Tim's educational background includes a Master of Laws in Public International Law from The London School of Economics and Political Science, a Bachelor's degree in International Relations from Technische Universität Dresden, and participation in international studies at Universidad de ‘San Andrés’ and Wyoming Seminary.
