Ted Yang

Ted Yang is an accomplished entrepreneur and leader with extensive experience across various sectors. Currently serving as a Regent for the Connecticut State Colleges & Universities, appointed by Governor Lamont, Ted also founded and presides over Cantata Media, and leads Sticky Ventures as Founder and Chair. Throughout a prolific career, Ted has achieved significant exits in companies such as Purple Insurance and IRAmarket, and has invested in multiple firms across software, health, marketing, and fintech. Notably involved with 4-CT as Co-Founder and former CEO, Ted helped establish the largest statewide COVID-19 fund in Connecticut. Other roles include Board Director at Chempacific Corp, Chairman of the Board at Connex Partners, and Special Advisor to the International Panel on the Information Environment. Ted holds an M. Eng and BS in Computer Science and Electrical Engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
