Lauren McGowan is a Policy Analyst at the International Peace Institute since September 2023. Prior experience includes serving as a Conflict Prevention and Sustaining Peace Global Fellow at the United Nations University Centre for Policy Research from January 2023 to August 2023, and as a Program Consultant for the Women's March in July and August 2022. Additionally, Lauren interned at the United Nations Human Rights in 2021, worked as a Research Assistant at Conflict Dynamics International, and held multiple roles at Amnesty International USA from 2016 to 2021. Educational credentials include a Master of Arts in Law and Diplomacy from The Fletcher School at Tufts University and a Bachelor's degree in Political Science and Government from Rutgers University.
