Agustin Perez has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Agustin began their career as an Associate Professor at the Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México in 1991. Agustin then worked as a Credit Analyst at Banamex, where they were involved in structured finance and credit analysis. In 1995, Perez joined PMI Comercio Internacional as a Trader, responsible for energy commodity derivatives trading and hedging activities. Agustin later moved to Pemex Gas y Petroquimica Basica, where they managed the Natural Gas financial book and presented trading results to the Risk Management Committee. Perez then worked at Enron as a Manager, selling commodities financial hedging and conducting risk management seminars. Agustin joined Cargill in 2002 as a Marketer, handling the design, structure, and sale of commodity financial derivatives. Perez then transitioned to BBVA Bancomer as a Vice President, where they developed the bank's commodity project in Mexico and analyzed risks for corporate customers. Agustin'smost recent role is as the Managing Director at International Planning Group, a company specializing in life insurance based wealth structuring and transfer planning solutions for affluent individuals and executives of multi-national companies.
