Alfred Waweru is a research technician at the International Potato Center (CIP) since September 2020, with prior experience as an intern at the Kenya Plant Health Inspectorate Service (KEPHIS) in 2017. Pursuing a Master of Science in Crop Protection (Plant Pathology) at Kenyatta University from September 2023 to September 2025, Alfred holds a Bachelor of Science in Microbiology and Biotechnology from the University of Nairobi (2012-2016) and a Diploma in Information Communication Technology from Kirinyaga Technical Institute (2011). Alfred's educational background is complemented by a Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education obtained from Man'gu High School (2007-2010).
