Jerry Heying, CPP, PPS, CST has extensive experience in the field of security and executive protection. Jerry is a founding board member of the International Protective Security Board and has been a member of the ASIS Fire and Life Safety Council. Jerry served as the Executive Protection Director at the Executive Protection Institute, where they also held the role of Security Director. Jerry is currently a member of the ASIS Executive Protection Community Steering Committee, where they previously served as the Past Chair. In addition, Jerry has held leadership positions at Nine Lives Associates and International Protective Service Agency. Jerry is also the CEO and President of International Protection Group, where they provide various high-end security services globally. Jerry has been actively involved in the industry for over three decades and holds certifications as a Personal Protection Specialist and Security Firearms Instructor.

Jerry Heying, CPP, PPS, CST has a background in Security Management and Business from John Jay College of Criminal Justice. Additionally, they hold several certifications including a VA Security Company License obtained from VA DCJS in January 2009, a NJ Security Company certification obtained from NJ State Police in June 2005, a certification from NYS Licensing obtained in May 1998, and they are currently serving as the ASIS Community Steering Committee Chair, a certification obtained from ASIS International in January 2021.
