Kristine Rembach serves as Co-Director and Director of Complementary Pathways at the International Refugee Assistance Project since January 2018, with extensive experience in refugee legal aid and immigration services. Previously, Rembach held roles such as Regional Consultant for the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation and Director of the Refugee Legal Aid Program at St. Andrew's Refugee Services, where leadership was demonstrated in advocating for refugee rights. Early career experience includes work as a Partner at Katten Muchin Rosenman LLP and as an Associate at both Hunton & Williams and Paul Hastings, focusing on litigation and compliance. Rembach's legal expertise was further honed as a Law Clerk for the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Florida and as a Pro Bono Attorney representing asylum seekers. Rembach holds a Juris Doctor from The George Washington University Law School and a B.S. in Chemistry from Boston College, with additional specialized training in European Union Law and Policy on Immigration and Asylum from Université libre de Bruxelles.
