Melissa Keaney is a seasoned attorney specializing in public interest and international law, currently serving as Senior Litigation Staff Attorney at the International Refugee Assistance Project since June 2019. Prior to this role, Melissa worked as a Staff Attorney at the National Immigration Law Center from August 2009 to June 2019. Melissa earned a Juris Doctor degree with a focus on Public Interest and Public International Law from Loyola Law School in Los Angeles, where studies were completed from 2006 to 2009. Earlier academic achievements include a degree from UC Santa Barbara, obtained between 2000 and 2004.
