Tahir Ahmad

Tahir Ahmad currently serves as the Director of Institutional Philanthropy at the International Refugee Assistance Project, a position held since September 2025. Previously, Tahir contributed to The Leadership Conference on Civil and Human Rights in various roles, including Director of Development and Director of Institutional Relations and Development Operations, from March 2022 to September 2025. Earlier experience includes a Manager position for Foundation Relations at World Food Program USA, Development Associate at Chiefs for Change, and multiple roles at Communities In Schools National Office, culminating in Senior Associate, Institutional Relations. Tahir's career began as a Resource Development Intern at the International Rescue Committee. Education was completed at the University of Virginia, earning a Bachelor of Arts in Foreign Affairs and History.
