Antonia Ferrier

VP, External Affairs at International Republican Institute

Antonia Ferrier serves as Vice President for External Affairs at IRI where she leads the organization’s strategic external planning and engagement, including global media relations, events, advocacy, and private sector partnerships and fundraising.

Having built a reputation as a well-respected communications professional, Antonia has more than twenty years of experience provided strategic counsel to prominent elected officials, Fortune 50 companies, trade associations and non-profits.

Antonia spent nearly 15 years on Capitol Hill where she worked on the front lines of some of the most significant policy and legislative debates of the last two decades. She spearheaded strategic planning and communications on a wide range of issues and advised some of the most senior members of the House and Senate.

After leaving Capitol Hill, Antonia advised Fortune 50 companies, trade associations and non-profits across multiple industries, including health care, energy, and financial services.

Antonia served as a Fellow at Georgetown University’s Institute of Politics, has participated in international delegations overseas, and has appeared on numerous news outlets, including the BBC, NPR, CNN, Fox, and MSNBC. Born in Bristol, England and raised in Lexington, Massachusetts, Antonia received a bachelor’s degree in International Studies from the American University in Washington, DC where she lives today.
