Briana Orr

Briana Orr has extensive experience in humanitarian work, particularly in refugee resettlement and information services. Currently employed as an Information Services Advisor and Signpost Protection Specialist at the International Rescue Committee since June 2018, Briana previously held the position of 4Mi Project Manager at the Danish Refugee Council for one year. Briana’s background includes serving as a Resettlement Officer at RSC Africa, conducting resettlement interviews across East Africa, and working as an Information Analyst with ACAPS, focusing on humanitarian developments in multiple countries. Early career roles with UNHCR involved organizing asylum seeker interviews and conducting refugee status determinations. Briana's education includes a Master's degree in International Affairs from L’Institut de hautes études internationales et du développement and a Bachelor's degree in Human Rights from Bard College.
