Cheick Oumar Keita

Cheick Oumar KEITA is an experienced professional in the field of health and nutrition, currently serving as the STA for Emergency Health and Regional Emergency Director for West Africa at the International Rescue Committee since June 2019. Prior to this, Cheick held multiple roles within the organization, including ERT Health Coordinator and Health/Nutrition and CET Coordinator. Previous experience also includes a position as Health and Nutrition Program Manager at ACTION CONTRE LA FAIM, Focal Point Doctor at ALIMA, and Community Health Medical Supervisor at International Rescue Committee. Cheick’s medical career began after earning a Doctor in Medicine degree from the Faculty of Medicine and has been complemented by various certifications in nutrition and project management.
