Nicky Smith

Nicky Smith currently serves as Regional Director and previously held the position of Executive Director at the International Rescue Committee since January 2016, after a tenure as Interim Deputy Regional Director for West Africa, Sahel, Central African Republic, and Haiti, and Director of New Country Programs. Prior experience includes roles at the Canadian Forces College as a Subject Matter Expert and significant leadership positions within the International Rescue Committee in Sudan and Liberia. Nicky's career spans various roles in emergency response with MSF - Holland across multiple countries, as well as finance and administration management in Rwanda and Burundi. Educational background includes attendance at The Grove School.
