Nikki Hume

Nikki Hume is an experienced educator currently serving as the EY Atelierista and ES Art Specialist at the International School Manila since July 2019, where a focus on empowering colleagues is paramount. Earlier, Nikki worked at the International School of Prague from August 2009 to June 2019, holding positions as Curriculum Team Leader for Elementary School Social Studies, Kindergarten Studio Teacher, and Kindergarten Teacher, emphasizing diverse learning approaches and project-based learning. Nikki's teaching journey began at the Helen Gordon Child Development Center at Portland State University from March 2001 to June 2009 as a Lead Classroom Teacher in Early Childhood Education. Nikki holds a Master of Science degree in Curriculum & Instruction with an Early Childhood Education specialization, as well as a Bachelor of Science degree in Social Science, both from Portland State University.
