Alyson Lewis is an experienced educator with a strong background in teaching English and Humanities at various educational institutions. Currently, Alyson serves as an English Teacher for Middle and High School at the International School of London since August 2022, having previously held a similar role there from April 2016 to July 2018. Alyson also has significant leadership experience in the private sector as the Head of Collections for The Plum Guide in NYC from July 2018 to November 2020, where responsibilities included Collection Management and Curation. Earlier in the career, Alyson worked as a 6th Grade Language Arts Teacher at Denver Public Schools from August 2011 to December 2015, and briefly served as Dean of Students for Breakthrough Collaborative in the summer of 2015. Alyson began the professional journey as part of Teach For America in 2011 as a Colorado Corps Member. Academic qualifications include a Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education and Teaching from Bucknell University and a Master’s Degree in Curriculum and Instruction from the University of Colorado Denver, alongside further education from Harvard Business School Online.
